Breathe. Relax. Smile - Jesus Loves You!
Sometimes we just need to breathe, relax, and smile—remembering that Jesus loves us. And remember the old cliché: Rome wasn’t built overnight.
Recently I’ve been feeling like I’m running a marathon, but somehow I still feel like I haven't left the starting line. So let me tell you all about it. A few years ago, God gave me subtle hints of a women’s ministry. In my mind, I had it all figured out, it was going to be a small group of eight women including myself. I created “The Friendship Circle” with Jesus Christ being the center of this circle of women. Welp, that was a flop, so, I dismantled the circle and walked away. Approximately one year later, in October 2024, I received a prophetic word from a lady. What God revealed to me through her was forming a women’s ministry greater than a circle of eight. I embraced it by responding in faith - yes, Amen, and count me in Lord. In January 2025, I was studying scripture just to be in God’s presence. And then, I received a revelation and that day I wrote down the name W3 Ministries, Women. Who. Worship. Forming this ministry has been an incredible journey so far. However, there are days when I feel discouraged because I feel stagnant, no new subscribers, no likes, no follows or shares, and barely any traffic to my new website.
Today, I was reminded of the message I type for my students on every test and quiz; Breathe. Relax. Smile - Jesus Loves You! Instantly, I felt relieved. Then I recalled a lesson that I taught my students on forces and motion. In physics, you need a reference point to prove an object is in motion. Then the discouragement evaporated when I measured my progress with my reference points being three years ago, two years ago, and finally a year ago. I definitely made progress! W3 Ministries has more followers than ever before, the company was officially formed in February 2026, and I am planning our first event - THE Bible Journaling Experience.
Although, I’m not where I desire to be, I’m grateful for my motion (progress). I’m here to encourage you today, don’t grow weary. Instead, spend a little time with Jesus. Grab your Bible & a highlighter and then turn to Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
